The United States UFM company, founded in 1963. It is a closely held company owned and operated by Erik and Lars Rosaen. The company began producing variable-area flow switches for the automotive market. They were mainly used to lubricate streams, cooling water and paints, and still are today. Over the years, American UFM companies have added flow indicators and flow transmitters to the basic design platform. We also added the Insite and FlowStream product lines. Insite is a plastic fluoroscopic flow indicator for use in wastewater treatment of water, deionized water and diluted chemicals. FlowStream products use different technologies to measure the mass flow rate of clean gas, where fast response and survivability are key.
